A new designer here at Mag-Big, Amarette Gregor. These are a beautiful combination of silversmith and textile art. Each is one-of-a-kind, and absolutely unlike any jewelry you’ve ever seen before. Great for a bohemian, adventurous mother.

5th Season never fails to impress us with her wide array of functional homewares. These plant holders are $16 each, and come with beautiful succulents and cactus plants. They’re an easy gift for a mom with a green thumb!

Botanical Bird was our best seller for Mother’s Day last year. What is it about this jewelry? It is perfectly balanced between a vintage inspiration and a contemporary savvy. This jewelry is delicate and tasteful, but still has the colorful, playful inspirations of Spring.

Haha, Ok, your mom will probably not want this awesome outfit made by Ruffeo Hearts Lil’ Snotty, but she might!! I know my mom would LOVE this (~full disclosure: Cassie’s mom is an awesome punk rocker babe).

Anderson Soap Co. is an incredible Portland company with a wide array of products. We have shave bars, soaps, lotions, lip balms, and other products that are all exceptional!

As many of you know, Mag-Big is not just a boutique, but an independent clothing company produced above our boutique by Cassie Ridgway and Kellie Kotlar.

Our clothing is made from dead stock bolts of vintage fabrics. Most dresses are implicitly one-of-a-kind due to the limited supply of select fabrics, and each piece is given special attention in detailing.

Our garments are manufactured to stores across the country, too! You can currently find us in San Fransisco, Austin, Chicago, Eugene, Portland, and Seattle.

It’s not that holiday gifts from Sears and Macy’s won’t be appreciated, but giving the gift of a specialty handmade products is just that much more special. For this holiday season, let’s make a point of shopping locally as much as possible, and be proud that our gifts are unique, high quality, and sustainably sourced.

This year Mag-Big’s fashion show, Alley 33, showcased the work of over twenty designers. We represented a broad spectrum of design talent from easy-fit/ready-to-wear to conceptual/couture apparel. Bicycle Culture at Mag-Big: North St. Bags!

We are excited to be carrying a new line of incredibly well made, durable, bikeable products by North St. Bags!! We have panniers, hip pouches and duffel bags! There are also super convenient clip on beer cozies, wallets, and really incredible top tube pads that hide a patch kit or a few tools safely and discretely. It is awesome to be able to extend our reach into bike culture and have more stuff for the menfolk (besides glow in the dark space boxer briefs, wallets and a few other things! haha)… Come see this stuff for yourself today! Curtis has even offered to do any custom orders through the shop that may come up. The possibilities are very exciting…

Today Adrienne from Autopilot Empires became our 440th Mag-Big Designer and brought us these totally stunning re-purposed coin rings! We are going gaga over these babies… we love to see such well made products! They feature altered coins (some really amazing vintage, antique, or foreign) beautifully soldered onto sterling or copper bands. We excitedly rushed to get them out and they are already getting tried on and fawned over.
